My Story
Karla Shaw

Hi, I’m Karla! I am so happy and grateful you are here!
I believe every person is unique and has a story. My favourite part of this work is connecting with so many beautiful people, who openly and vulnerably share their stories, their pain and their joy with me. To me, this is the purpose of life and I don’t take a moment of it for granted.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a holistic healing practice, where "Rei" means spiritual wisdom and "ki" means life force energy.
When the energy in our body is out of balance or alignment with our true essence, it can manifest in a variety of ways including illness and pain. Reiki works at an energetic level to rebalance the body. It is important to know that the practitioner is not "healing your body" but simply using their body as a conduit to help your body accelerate its own healing process. It can treat a person physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually and no two sessions are the same. Reiki is a complementary form of treatment alongside medical and other therapeutic practices.

Once we started, Karla understood my needs and walked me through her process before we began. It was the calmest and most peaceful I had felt in months. I was astonished at
how accurate and detailed her reading was, she could intuit things that I only knew about myself.
